Why do dishes that are listed in the Reviews page not show up in the Choose page?
The Choose search will only find and display products that have at least calories entered.
- You may select any number of criteria for your searches.
- You may search for all products in a particular brand, for example, Stouffer's, or a particular line such as "Lean Cuisine".
- You may also enter one or more words in the "Words in the Name" box. For example, entering "chicken" will select chicken dishes.
- You may also select by food group such as "entrees".
- You may make a narrower selection by selecting the Category of food (frozen appetizers, desserts, frozen pizzas, etc).
- You may look for products with specific ingredients or exclude them. For example, peanuts are a common allergen.
you would enter the name of the specific ingredient in either the include or exclude box. Please note that setting an “exclude” causes all variances of the word to be excluded – for example, products containing "peanut oil" will not be included in search results when "peanuts" are excluded. The Include and Exclude criteria only search the Ingredients list for each product, not the product name.
- Lastly, you may rank your results by one or two different criteria. You can, for example, choose “Low Calories” in “Sort by 1:,” which would return all the dishes that meet your other criteria (in our example, Stouffer’s Lean Cuisine chicken entrees and meals, single serving) with the results sorted by lowest-calorie to highest-calorie meal. If you then chose a second sort, say, “Low Fat” in Sort By 2:, the results would be returned first by calorie count (low to high), with fat counts being the secondary sort within the calorie count – so for example, if ten different dishes had the same calorie count, but differing fat grams counts, those ten dishes would be sorted by lowest grams of fat to highest.
