The Stouffer's Corner Bistro line is clearly intended to compete with companies like Trader Joe's, which provide ready-to-eat fresh meals that consumers can pick up at the store and heat to eat at home. This is an "upscaled" line of frozen products, and the Carbonara is a good choice. It is NOT a diet entry with a whomping 530 calories, 50g of carbs and 33g of protein coupled with 22 grams of fat. It has a nice, creamy taste (although a little heavy on the black pepper for MY taste buds), the chicken breast is an actual chicken breast, the peas and bacon add a nice textural touch. I usually grate a little Romano over it, however, for a little additional "oomph." If you can handle the calories, it's a good choice; it doesn't "feel" like a "TV dinner."
