The parts of this meal that didn't get hard in the cooking process didn't have much flavor. There was a fake type of flavor in the sauce, and I'm not sure what it was. If there is a positive about this, it would be that it's often under a dollar in price.

The beans and rice were not unpleasant, but the flavor and watery sauce of the Santa Fe Rice and Beans was a definite disappointment. The more I ate the more the flavor seemed almost stale and the sauce never thickened. I would try another Rice and Beans dinner and don't recommend this meal to a Mexican food lover.
