Buy Again? NO | We've eaten at various Joe's Crab Shacks around the country anad have enjoyed our meals there. When I saw this new item from them in my local grocery store's frozen meal section, I was excited to try it.
I made this for my husband & I last night for dinner.
It was a HUGE disappointment!
The premise for the meal is great and looks delicious. The reality is that the main item ~ the 2 pieces of cod (one per person) were extremely small. The finished pieces were 3" long by 1 3/4" -tapering down to 1/2" wide. Please note that I did not cook this fish the entire time as directed on the package. It was not quite done when I measured the pieces and had to tweak it a few more seconds. This is in no way a decent amount of protein for anyone but a small child!
The green beans with red bell pepper strips were lovely, and there was a good amount of them, but they were a bit on the tough side.
